Debian Med packages for psychology
This metapackage contains dependencies for a collection of software
which might be helpful for psychological research.
The list to the right includes various software projects which are of some interest to the Debian Med Project. Currently, only a few of them are available as Debian packages. It is our goal, however, to include all software in Debian Med which can sensibly add to a high quality Debian Pure Blend.

De acuerdo con sus autores, praat es «hacer fonética con la máquina». A
través de su interfaz gráfica,están disponibles algunas funcionalidades de
análisis de voz : espectogramas, cocleogramas y afinación y extracción de
formantes. También están disponibles tanto síntesis articulatoria como
síntesis de afinación, formantes e intensidad. Otras funciones son
segmentación, etiquetado utilizando el alfabeto fonético y cálculo de
estadísticas. Praat es configurable y extensible a través de su propio
lenguaje para elaborar scripts y comunicarse con otros programas.

Psignifit allows fitting of psychometric functions to datasets while
maintaining full control over a large number of parameters. Data
can either be read from text files or passed through a pipe.
Psignifit performs the calculation of confidence intervals as well as
goodness-of-fit tests.
This is the command line version.

PsychoPy proporciona un entorno para la creación de estímulos psicológicos
utilizando Python como lenguaje de programación. PsychoPy combina la
fortaleza gráfica de OpenGL con la facilidad de la sintaxis de Python para

PyEPL is a stimuli delivery and response registration toolkit to be
used for generating psychology (as well as neuroscience, marketing
research, and other) experiments.
It provides
