EDFbrowser is a viewer for medical timeseries storage files containing data such as EEG, EMG, and ECG signals. It supports EDF(+) and BDF(+) file formats. Apart from viewing the files, it also supports some editing operations and can convert the biomedical files to other formats.

Periodic Calendar is a GUI application which assists in women menstrual cycles tracking and fertility periods prediction. This information can be used as supportive either for conception or contraception planning.

Periodic Calendar provides support for BBT and sympto-thermal methods which have the highest reliability in fertility periods prediction. User can choose any subset of the features to be used or even fall to the generic calendar method (which if used alone is very unreliable).

Authors of the Periodic Calendar still insist on not being an equal substitute to the fertility planning consultants or doctors. Before using this application please talk to your doctor or read a good book on the subject.

Pondus keeps track of your body weight and, optionally, the percentage of bodyfat, muscle and water. It aims to be simple to use, lightweight and fast. All data can be plotted to get a quick overview of the history of your weight. A simple weight planner allows one to define "target weights" and this plan can be compared with the actual measurements in a plot.

CLIPS is an expert system shell / inference engine written by NASA (see Debian package clips).

pyclips are the Python bindings to that engine.

QuitCount is a simple counter that shows what you spared since you quit smoking. Once you tell it the date you quit, how much you smoked, and how much it cost, it'll tell you how many cigarettes you didn't smoke since, and how much it makes in terms of money, tar, and life expectancy.

This package provides the file /usr/share/dict/german-medical containing a list of German medical words. This list can be used by spelling checkers, and by programs such as look(1).

Dado um tamanho de ciclo ou estatísticas para diversos períodos, ele pode calcular os dias até a menstruação, os dias de sexo "seguro", o período fértil, os dias de ovulação, e definir a data de nascimento de uma criança. Ele permite ao usuário escrever notas e ajuda a supervisionar a administração de comprimidos hormonais contraceptivos.

Possibilidades do programa:

• Calcular os dias de menstruação, baseado no tamanho do ciclo ou sobre estatísticas de períodos anteriores.
• Calcular os dias de sexo "seguro", período fértil e dias de ovulação.
• Definição de data de nascimento de uma criança
• Permite escrever notas.

• Permitidos múltiplos usuários. Os dados são protegidos por uma senha para cada usuário.

NOTA: Este programa não é um método contraceptivo confiável. Ele também não ajuda a prevenir doenças sexualmente transmissíveis como AIDS. Ele é somente um meio eletrônico de manter o controle de alguns de seus dados médicos e extrair algumas conclusões estatísticas deles. O mencal é um calendário de menstruação escrito em Perl.

Ele é uma simples variação do bem conhecido comando Unix cal. A principal diferença é que você pode ter alguns dias repetidos periodicamente realçados em cor. Isto pode ser usado para controlar ciclos de menstruação (ou de outras coisas) convenientemente.

MSSStest is a program for implementing the method described in the article The Multiple Sclerosis Severity Score. R. Roxburgh S. Seaman et al. (2004), accepted for publication by Neurology. It calculates MSSS scores and uses these scores to test for differences between disease progression rates in different groups defined by genotype at some locus. A brief description of the method is given below.
